JOB VOLUNTEERS

All charities are passionate about making a difference and as an 'activity for health' operation of Central YMCA, YMCA Club is no different. Central YMCA’s mission is to provide inspiration, education and opportunities for health, in mind body and spirit. In achieving these goals tens of thousands of individuals engage with Central YMCA each year, through five main operations, central support services and via literally hundreds of products and services.

Working with Central YMCA could provide you with the kind of fulfilling role that makes you feel like coming to work in the morning! Plus there is one totally unique benefit; almost every time you tell anyone your employer’s name - they’ll sing the song, sometimes even with actions! We wish to add continually to our surprisingly interesting history through the talent and dedication of our staff and volunteers, so read on to see if your skills and ambitions match current opportunities at Central YMCA!

Equal Opportunities

Central YMCA is committed to the promotion of equal opportunities, both in the provision of its services and in its capacity as an employer.

Volunteer Opportunities

There are lots of opportunities to contribute to the success of the Charity by becoming a volunteer. You’d join a team of over 200 individuals who currently give their time at the Central YMCA Club. Formal training and qualifications are very much part of our volunteer programme, so whether you want work experience in the crèche, wish to qualify in how to deliver an exercise class or would like to apply to join our Board of Trustees, we may be able to help you to help others! There is also an opportunity to get involved in supporting the paid One KX staff in developing the future direction of the centre and its programme, through involvement in one of the steering groups.
